Founder: Mitchell Martin, PE
Valinor Energy was created by Mitchell Martin, a licensed Professional Engineer and former Vice President at one of California’s largest biomass electricity providers. Over his career, Mitchell has:
- Helped pioneer the first PCA sales under SB 1383
- Led biomass and renewable energy development projects
- Supported multi-million-dollar compliance programs
- Participated in early SB 1383 procurement guidance
- Worked directly with CalRecycle-accepted facilities
With deep experience in renewable electricity, biomass generation, and the regulatory frameworks around them, Mitchell designed Valinor to be a trusted technical guide for city staff navigating complex compliance requirements.
